Plow Pose with Blocks: How to Do it Step-by-Step

Step 1

Place a block at one end of your mat. Begin by lying on your back with your legs extended and arms at your sides.

Step 2

Engage your core to lift your legs and hips up, bringing your torso perpendicular to the floor as you straighten your legs, then slowly lower them over your head. Support your back with your hands and let the feet come to rest on the block.

Step 3

Align your hips over your shoulders and tuck the chin slightly into the neck, softening the throat. Stay in this pose for 1-5 minutes, then gently roll back down onto the mat.
